Yewen Jin is a full-stack engineer, creative technologist, and AI-native builder based in London, working across product interfaces, AI agents, and real-time systems.
I build software at the intersection of taste and engineering — tools that feel alive. Most recent work focuses on agentic AI products (Alibi, Job Tracker), networked real-time infrastructure (MIDI Relay), and browser-based interactive fiction (The Body is Obsolete).
That practice is rooted in a longer creative one. I co-founded Skopetur, a creative technology company producing tools and events for globally connected performance, including a hybrid series linking dancers, musicians, and visual artists between London and New York. Other projects include Ōuyā, a gesture-to-sound-and-image translation trio, and Solar Rocks, an audiovisual and DJ duo performing live experimental sets.
I build and maintain a fleet of old computers running Linux as a personal obsession. Currently looking for full-time engineering roles at AI-native startups, and open to freelance.
Older work lives in the archive.
